You Are Rich

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is a popular game show that gives contestants an opportunity to win one million dollars. Do you want to be a millionaire? If Jesus is your Savior, guess what? You are worth a fortune in Christ!

Listen to these words from Ephesians 1:3, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

Spiritual blessings galore! That’s the idea. Paul writes these words to believers in Christ who possess every spiritual blessing. Now that you know you’re a spiritual millionaire in Christ, stop thinking and acting like a pauper.

I get what you’re saying, the whole idea of being rich in Christ hits way deeper than chasing some game show money. Still, it’s funny how we all get caught up in wanting that millionaire status when the real blessings are already in front of us. I remind myself of that when I’m tempted to grind too hard.
