The apostle John pauses three times in the book of Revelation to give us a glimpse of worship in heaven (4:8-11, 5:8-14, 7:9-12).

While apocalyptic disasters are happening on earth during the Tribulation, exhilarating worship takes place around the throne of God. The Spirit transports John into the awesome presence of God who is almighty in power and pure in holiness.

Revelation 4:10-11 says, “The twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ‘Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.’”
