Work It Out

What works when life doesn't? Hopefully, the answer is your faith in Jesus. 

Does your faith work when the doctor diagnoses inoperable cancer? Does your faith work when the bears stampede your stock portfolio?  Does your faith work when somebody else gets the job promotion? Does your faith work when your spouse walks out after ten years of marriage?

The Bible says, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12). Don't work for your salvation, but, for sure, work it out. Work it out in the good times and in the bad times, when God feels close and when he seems far away. Work it out, knowing that God is also at work in you.
