Who Am I? · Something Good Radio

When Texas billionaire Ross Perot ran for President in 1992, he chose Vice Admiral James Stockade, a highly decorated navy pilot, as his running mate. Though he enjoyed a distinguished military career, Admiral Stockdale was unknown and untested in the political arena. For that reason, he appeared uneasy in the first Vice Presidential debate.

“Who am I and why am I here?” he blurted out awkwardly. Everything seemed to fall apart for the Admiral after that. Later, he explained that his questions reflected his core conviction about him being a philosopher.

Jesus was neither a philosopher nor a politician. But the Great I AM certainly knew who He was and why He was here. Do you?
