When God closes a door, we must trust that He sees things that we do not see and that His timing is always perfect. Besides, Jesus is your doorkeeper, “the true one … who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens” (Revelation 3:7).

Do you need God to open the right door for you? Jesus taught us to pray and told us to “knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7-8). So don’t stop praying. Instead, keep asking, seeking, and knocking on heaven’s door.

The Apostle Paul kept knocking and praying for ministry direction until a man appeared to him in a night vision and said, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” An open door, for sure. This was the Holy Spirit’s way of saying to Paul, “This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21).
