A Swedish industrialist and inventor named Alfred Nobel made provision in his will for a peace prize. It's given each year to the world leader who does the best job of promoting peace. Some believe Nobel became interested in this prize because his inventions were being used in global warfare. 

Humanity cries out in every generation for peace on earth. Two thousand years ago, a large gathering of angels appeared to humble shepherds outside of Bethlehem and said, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" (Luke 2:14) 

So whatever happened to peace on earth? Do you possess personal peace? How about peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ?
