“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse . . . And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need” (Malachi 3:10).
A tithe is an apportionment that means a tenth. Though tithing is a principle found in the Old Covenant, it’s a good place to start in your personal financial stewardship even as a New Testament Christian because the Lord does not change.
If it’s hard for you to trust Him with your money, then put Him to the test and give Him a tithe, and then watch Him open the windows of heaven.
