The Risky Waters of Faith

Years ago, John Ortberg wrote a book titled If You Want to Walk On Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat. The author believes “deep within us lies the same faith and longing that sent Peter walking across the wind-swept Sea of Galilee toward Jesus.”

 

Do you find yourself in a storm? Jesus is waiting to meet you out on the risky waters of faith. Stepping outside your comfort zone is thrilling and terrifying at the same time. But it will change you forever, deepening your character and your trust in God.

 

Will you step into the deep and stormy waters where Jesus promises to meet you, or stay in the calm and shallow end of faith?
