The Only Wise God

More information is at our fingertips than ever before in the history of humankind, and it is increasing at a faster and faster rate. It wasn’t that long ago that information traveled at the speed of horseback and by Pony Express. Technology has changed most everything in the information age. 

 

However, with all of the information and knowledge available to us today, there is still one thing missing: wisdom. The world is full of educated fools who earn all kinds of degrees from higher education, but there are very few people who can call themselves truly wise. 

 

The apostle Paul concludes his letter to the Romans by saying, “To the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen” (16:27).
