We often imagine Christmas as tidy, warm, and picture-perfect—but the real Nativity? It was anything but neat. Joseph’s world turned upside down when he learned Mary was pregnant—and he wasn’t the father (Mathew 1:18-25).

Imagine the pain, the confusion, the shattered dreams. But Joseph didn’t lash out. He didn’t shame his beloved Mary. He chose mercy over pride, character over comfort. God interrupted Joseph’s plans to fulfill a greater purpose. And when Joseph obeyed—without full understanding—he stepped into the center of God's will.

This Christmas, maybe your plans didn’t go the way you hoped. What if God is doing something greater in the mess? Like Joseph, will you do the right thing? Will you trust even when it doesn’t make sense? God still works through broken plans—and messy beginnings.
