The 4th Man in the Fire

Texas A&M University is "Home of the 12th Man." Aggie football fans call themselves the 12thman as a way of saying they support the 11 players on the field. To symbolize their readiness, the entire student body stands throughout the game. 

Whether you're on the football field or facing a fiery ordeal, the extra support makes a big difference. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego took their own stand, refusing to worship the king's image. A 4thman joined them in the fiery furnace who "looks like a son of the gods" (Daniel 3:25).  

The next time your faith is under fire, do not bow or bend. You can count on Jesus as the 4thman in the fire.
