Grace is a word we use in everyday life. For example, we say grace at the dinner table before we partake of a meal. In the financial industry, a grace period is that time after a mortgage payment is due, typically lasting fifteen days. Grace also describes how a ballerina floats across the dance floor, and grace is the name of a blue-eyed blonde.

Paul, also Saul of Tarsus, was surprised by the grace of God in his own life. We know Paul as the apostle of grace for the way he presents the grace of God throughout his New Testament letters. The word “grace” appears 82 times in the thirteen inspired letters Paul wrote.

God’s grace is truly amazing. Are you surprised by the grace of God in your life?
