God loves to start new things. I know that because when I search the Scriptures for the word new, I am amazed by how many times God is doing something new. For example, the Bible says a follower of Jesus Christ is a “new creation” where “the old has gone and the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Do you need a fresh start in your life, marriage, or relationship with your kids? Do you need a second chance? Consider this: God is always up to something good and something new in your life.

The prophet Jeremiah mentioned something new that the Lord was doing. He writes, “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah” (31:31). Truly, God was up to something new in ancient Israel.

What perfect timing for this devotion... We have been struggling with a decision for quite a while... As you may know, we divide our time between VB & Arizona.. and as we are aging and also after making the transition to VB last year, we have finally decided this week to put our home here in AZ on the market and return to VB for a permanent year round home!! The realtor is coming today.. Would appreciate your prayers as we make this transition. This is going to be our "SOMETHING NEW"

This is a great reminder that God is always working in our lives! Feeling stuck? Remember that He offers new beginnings. Maybe you need a fresh perspective, like when you finally master a tricky level in Slope Game. God's "new creation" is similar, a chance to overcome challenges and move forward.
