Sixty Seconds After We Die · Something Good Radio

The Bible says, “It is appointed for man once to die, and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). So what exactly happens sixty seconds after we die? Can we know? Does the same Bible give us any glimpses into the afterlife? In fact, Jesus does in Luke chapter 16.

Consider two men with two entirely different backgrounds and two final destinations. One was rich in this life but poor in the next; the other was poor in this life but sixty seconds after he died, he woke up in paradise.

One experienced unimaginable torment; the other enjoyed eternal bliss. One begged to go back and warn his family and friends. Do you know where you’ll be sixty seconds after you die?
