"And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two" (Matthew 5:41). Can people count on you to go the second mile?

One-mile people deliver the minimum standard. They're 9-to-5ers that never arrive early or stay late. They punch in, punch out and collect their check. On their job review, they consistently "meet expectations." They don't underperform; they just never over perform.

Second mile people, on the other hand, far exceed expectations. They're full of surprises. They under promise and over deliver. And according to Jesus, they even resist the urge to strike back, get even or settle the score. What will it take for you to finally go the second mile in your relationships?
