Work your plan and plan your work. That's the way a lot of us charge into our day. We were taught, "If we fail to plan, we plan to fail." Some of us use Day Timers and Day Planners to organize our work. Others use electronic devices to keep up with all of our plans.

There's nothing wrong with planning. In fact, the Bible says, "In his heart a man plans his course." But don't forget the second half of that proverb. "But the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9).

Do you plan, and then ask the Lord to bless your plans? That's not planning; that's presumption. Instead, ask the Lord to share His plans with you.
