“He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake” (Psalm 23:3b). The phrase “paths of righteousness” refers to choosing the right course and embracing the right moral standards like honesty, goodness, purity, justice, and uprightness.

“Paths of righteousness” presupposes right and wrong, which the Bible clearly sets forth in places like the Ten Commandments. Proverbs 16:25 even says, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” Thus, moral relativism is a lie.

Jesus, the good shepherd, clearly stated there are only two paths to follow in life, a narrow path that leads to life and a wide path that leads to destruction. Which path are you following?
