“I’m too busy!’

“It won’t happen to me!”

“I have plenty of time!”

These are common excuses people give for not paying attention to the soon return of Jesus Christ. A high school football coach of mine used to say, “Excuses are like armpits. Everybody has two of them and they both stink!”

The Bible says, “As in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark” (Matt. 24:37-39).

So, what’s your excuse for living as though Jesus isn’t coming back?
