“There was no room for them.” Those familiar words in Luke 2:7 invite us to reflect on our own hearts this Christmas. God brought Jesus into the world through humble circumstances, using both miracles and providence to accomplish His plan. While Mary and Joseph found no room in the guest space, God was still at work fulfilling His promises.

We make room for Christ by slowing down, scheduling intentional time with God, cultivating continual prayer, and opening our hearts fully to Jesus. Christ does not force His way in; He gently knocks, inviting fellowship.

Christmas is not merely about remembering Christ’s birth, but responding to it. When we make room for Him, we discover that God has been working all along in the details of our lives.
