L-O-V-E. Now there's a four-letter word that's worth repeating.

Most people think of love as that sick feeling in your stomach when you miss your boyfriend or girlfriend. Mark Twain said, "Love is that irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired." But isn't love more than a feeling?

Actually, love is a verb. It demands action and takes risks. God so loved the world with no guarantee we'd love him in return. Love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13).

Love isn't easy. Jesus said, "You have heard, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies" (Matthew 5:43-44).
