When the Apostle Paul “shook out his garments” at the Jews in Corinth who opposed the gospel, he had done all he could do with them (Acts 18). That reminds me of a book written by A.L. Williams, a former high school football coach, titled All You Can Do Is All You Can Do, But All You Can Do Is Enough.

But is it really enough? I prefer to say, “All you can do is all you can do, then pray and leave the results to God.”

Parents, all you can do is all you can do to raise your children in the Lord’s ways, then pray and leave the results to God. All you can do is all you can do to get through the tough times, then pray and leave the results to God.

Lately, I’ve been feeling like no matter how hard I try at work and in my personal life, it’s never quite enough. I’ll spend hours on a project or helping friends, and then feel like I could’ve done more. Does anyone else ever feel this way? I’m starting to wonder if “all you can do” really is enough, or if I’m just setting impossible standards for myself.

It’s wild how much people underestimate the small things they do every day. Even little efforts like checking in on a friend, finishing a minor task at work, or just sticking to a routine can really add up. Sometimes we only notice the big stuff and forget to appreciate all the little wins that actually keep life moving smoothly.

Oh, I get what you mean. I used to push myself constantly in college, trying to ace every assignment and still help my roommates with their stuff. There was this one time I was so stressed that I barely slept for two nights straight. What really helped me was realizing that sometimes it’s okay to ask for support, and I actually found a few tips on ozessay.com.au/ for organizing tasks and managing deadlines better. Just knowing there are strategies and resources out there made me breathe easier and stop feeling like I had to do everything perfectly.
