Lawrence Tureaud, a.k.a. Mr. T, made a Hollywood career out of the phrase, “I pity the fool!” The old saying remains true: there’s no fool like an old fool; it’s also true that there’s no fool like a rich fool. Jesus once told a story about a man that was both rich and a fool with his money at the same time (Luke 12:16-21).

A fool is someone that lacks the moral reason to make wise decisions. This man obviously possessed the ability to make money, but he lacked the wisdom to act honorably and generously with his money.

Are you a rich fool? Mr. T says, “I pity the fool that is not rich toward God!”
