How's Your Wanter Doing?

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). 

So, how’s your wanter doing? Yes, your wanter.We all have a wanter that wants this and wants that. Some of us don’t even know what we want, but we know our wanter is unsatisfied. And it doesn’t help that everyday we’re bombarded with advertisements that tell us we should want this, that or the other thingamajig. 

When the world, the flesh and the devil tell us what we should want, our wanter barely has a chance to want what God wants for us. 

So, let me ask you again. How’s your wanter doing? “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4).
