Heavenly Rewards

Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and thatHe is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Rewind that last phrase, a rewarder of those who seek him. Does God hand out rewards, and if He does, why and to whom?

 

Jesus talked often about rewards. And throughout the New Testament, we learn about five specific rewards or crowns given to believers for faithful service. For example, the crown of righteousnessis for those that finish well and wait with longing for the return of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 4:8). 

 

What about you? Will you receive a heavenly reward?
