With more than 3,400 pairs of shoes in her closet, Imelda Marcos, the wife of former Panamanian dictator Ferdinand Marcos, is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the women with the largest collection of shoes.

I can think of one and only one pair of shoes that really matter in the Christian life. Some refer to them as gospel shoes of peace or good news shoes. The Bible tells us to dress for spiritual battle with “shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.”

So, are you wearing your gospel shoes? Are you ready to share the good news that God has made peace with us through the Lord Jesus Christ?
