Wash your hands. Purify your hearts. Grieve, mourn and wail. Humble yourself before the Lord (James 4:7-10). I know, it doesn't sound like a Saturday at the park. But you've tried everything else to mend your marriage or repair a fractured friendship. Why not try God's relationship remedy?

Resolving conflict starts by getting real with the person in the mirror. Frankly, most of us would rather point the finger at the other person than deal honestly with our own failures.

So let's review. "Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."
