“Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a wordas is good for edificationaccording to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.”

The application of those words from Ephesians chapter 4 is never more important than in one’s marriage. Men, do your words build your mate’s self esteem or do they tear her down? zHave you told her lately how special she is?

In the Song of Songs, King Solomon used his words to affirm and esteem his future wife even during their romantic courtship. He says, “I compare you, my love, to a mare among Pharaoh’s chariots. Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with strings of jewels” (SOS 1:9-10).
