Declaration of Dependance

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:3). This first beatitude of Jesus serves as the entry point to the kingdom of God. Your happy place and mine starts with a Declaration of Dependence. That's right, dependence.

We declare our dependence on God by recognizing how spiritually poor we truly are. How does that resonate with you as a rugged individualist who is full of self-reliance and determination? The kingdom of heaven makes no room for anyone who asserts, "I'm rich in spirit and can do it all myself!"

So, declare your dependence on God today, and then prepare for supreme blessedness and exalted happiness to flood your heart.
