Is God real? The answer to that question is elementary to some. “The fool says in his heart there is no God” (Psalm 14:1). But others need proof.

What if we treated the question about God’s existence like a crime scene investigation? Could we marshal enough evidence? Would we uncover clues in the cosmos, or discover any divine fingerprints inside the human body? And would the weight of this evidence convince us to believe in the existence of God beyond a reasonable doubt?

Biblical faith always goes beyond what the mind alone can reason. But let the investigation begin. Collect the evidence. Assemble the jury. Make your defense. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).
