ASK

Acronyms appear every day in our conversations. For example, when texting, LOL means "laugh out loud" and BFF means "best friends forever." Here's an acronym that might help you when praying: ASK.

"A" stands for asking. Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given to you."

"S" stands for seeking. Jesus said, "Seek, and you will find."

"K" stands for knocking. Jesus said, "Knock, and it will be opened to you."

Is prayer really as easy as Jesus makes it sound? It is if you ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking (Matthew 7:7). And so, the next time you ASK, expect Jesus to RSVP.
