Community of Ambassadors

Welcome to the Something Good Community of Ambassadors. We ask you to prayerfully consider your service to the Lord and this ministry. Becoming a Something Good Ambassador is a sacred calling and trust because "we are ambassadors of Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:20).

 

Something Good Radio and Television with Dr. Ron Jones exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and strengthen the body of Christ through life-changing Bible teaching. Something Good is more than a catch phrase to us. We believe God really is up to something good in our lives because the Bible says, “Every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good” (Romans 8:28 MSG).

Assuming the responsibilities of the Community of Ambassadors begins by saying, “I’m all in! Something Good will be a priority in my prayer life, personal charitable giving, and personal networking. I will regularly share Something Good with someone else with the goal of multiplying the ministry." Specifically, active Ambassadors partner with Dr. Ron and Cathryn Jones in the following ways.

 

Listen and watch by turning into the daily radio and weekly television broadcasts. 

 

Pray regularly that God will continue using Something Good Radio and Television to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and strengthen the body of Christ through life-changing Bible teaching. Also, be part of the prayer team that intercedes for our listeners, viewers, and partners that request prayer.

 

Donate by giving faithfully, generously, and regularly of your financial resources to support the ministry.

 

Set up a recurring donation

 

Share Something Good with someone else by leveraging your relationships to promote and multiply the ministry. Use social media and other ways to intentionally connect people in your personal network (friends, family, neighbors, church, co-workers) to the ministry of Something Good. 

 

Fundraise for the ministry by joining Dr. Ron Jones in asking others to become ministry partners and Ambassadors. 

 

Advise Dr. Ron Jones on strategies that help grow the ministry and leverage Something Good’s impact for the kingdom of God.


Opportunities for the Community of Ambassadors

 

Dr. Ron and Cathryn Jones invite the Community of Ambassadors to gather with them regularly, virtually, and in-person. 

 

Because Ambassadors live across the United States, A Virtual Gathering of Ambassadors can happen more often. Our goal is 5-6 times per year to provide community, encouragement from God’s word, and insider ministry updates. We also want to hear from you about ways to improve the ministry.

 

Ron and Cathryn encourage all Ambassadors to join them at an annual in-person Gathering of Ambassadors. Our goal is to offer such gatherings in places that offer rest and enjoyment, plus an opportunity to connect with others and God.

 

Ways Ambassadors Help Multiply Something Good

 

1. The best way to multiply any ministry is to simply do what Jesus told us to do, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:18). Multiplication is at the heart of the Great Commission and Jesus's methodology. At Something Good, we equip our Ambassadors with an online discipleship coaching experience called Starting Point: A Disciple's First Steps. Use the course to make disciples as a first priority. Use it secondarily as a way to introduce people to Something Good.

2. The old fashion way also works when helping to multiply Something Good. Make a prospect list of people you know from your network of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and church family. Let them know that you serve as a Something Good Ambassador. Share the ministry with them and begin a conversation. It's just that simple!

 

3. Offer to set up a ZOOM to meet Dr. Ron Jones personally. He's available to meet prospective Ambassadors!

 

4. Use your social media platform to share Something Good with someone else. Don't just like our social media posts, share them!

 

My Commitment to Serve with the Community of Ambassadors

 

I have prayerfully considered and agree to assume the responsibilities of serving with the Something Good Community of Ambassadors for one year: Watch/listen, pray, donate, share, fundraise, and advise.

 

I agree with the ministry’s statement of belief and mission. 

 

I will make every effort to take full advantage of the opportunities for virtual and in-person gatherings with the Community of Ambassadors and Dr. Ron and Cathryn Jones.

 

I will do my best to multiply the ministry by recruiting five (5) new Ambassadors throughout the year. 

 

I agree to conduct my Christian life in keeping with the highest of biblical standards so as not to bring reproach upon the ministry or the Lord Jesus Christ.
