Easter is the ultimate answer to the question, “What’s so good about Good Friday?” Jesus rose from the dead “on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:4). No other event in human history is more monumental.

So, why believe in Jesus? Because Jesus predicted His own death and resurrection three days later, and it came true. He also verified He was alive with many post-resurrection appearances. For forty days, Jesus appeared to individuals and large crowds. The Bible says to as many as five hundred people at one time, all testifying, “Jesus is alive!”

The good news of Jesus’s resurrection is not based on circumstantial evidence, but on proof verified by many eyewitnesses.
