I don’t mean to get personal, but can I ask you what laundry soap you use? What makes your whites whiter than snow? Is it Tide, Gain, or good ole fashioned bleach? How about blood? Nobody would ever think of using blood to make something clean, but God does.

The Bible says, “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). That’s why king David prayed, “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow” (Psalm 51:7). Flashback to the hyssop branches the Israelites used to paint lamb’s blood on their doorposts during Passover.

Washed clean and made whiter than snow by the blood of Jesus Christ. Does that describe you?
