Through the Fire · Something Good Radio

Three Hebrew friends named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are true Bible heroes. They courageously refused to bow to the king's image and worship his gods. "Bow or burn in the fiery furnace," the king said. The boys chose to burn (Daniel 3).

As Christians, we can expect God to test and purify our faith. The apostle Peter says, "Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you" (1 Peter 4:12).

What fiery trial are you facing? Choose to obey God and remember this: "When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze" (Isaiah 43:2).
