Right With God

"Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:20). With these words, Jesus fired a truth missile across the bow of the religious elite. He exploded any notion that keeping tedious, man-made rules makes anyone right with God. 

God's righteous standard has nothing to do with the proud, legalistic and controlling ways of people who have more in common with spiritual nitpickers than Jesus.

Are you ready to leave behind false and phony religion and get right with God? The doors of the kingdom of heaven swing wide open to those who by faith receive the imputed righteousness of Christ.
