Comedians often have some of the best perspectives when it comes to everyday life, especially as it relates to parenting. Ray Romano says, “Having children is like living in a frat house. Nobody sleeps, everything’s broken, and there’s a lot of throwing up.”

All kidding aside, where do parents go to learn how to raise wise, godly children? The Bible is the closest thing we have to an owner’s manual for raising kids. Thankfully, Scripture is chockfull of divine counsel that is applicable in every generation and to every situation parents and grandparents face in family life.

Parenting is no laughing matter. It’s serious business and it’s time for some plain talk from the B-I-B-L-E about raising kids who love God.
