Nicolas Herman, known worldwide as Brother Lawrence, truly lived his life coram Deo, a Latin phrase that means “in the presence of God” or “before the face of God.”

To live your life coram Deo means to embrace every moment as holy knowing that you are in the presence of God and before His watchful face. Whatever you are doing and wherever you are doing it, act under the gaze of an omnipresent God.

Living your life coram Deo will lead to divine appointments like the one Phillip experienced in Acts chapter eight. A divine appointment is a meeting with another person that is supernaturally and unmistakably scheduled by God. Are you living your life coram Deo?
