Ministry is soul care. Our first goal as a church is to participate with God in the saving of souls, based on the idea we are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

After someone experiences salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, soul care continues. Sanctification is the theological term the Bible uses to describe how we grow into Christlikeness with the Holy Spirit’s help. Growing up to be like Jesus is expected in the Christian life as much as growing into adulthood is expected of children and adolescents.

Are you practicing soul care? Jesus cared for His soul care by practicing Sabbath rest, a daily quiet time, and the disciplines of prayer and fasting. He also cared for His soul by memorizing Scripture.
