An Undefeated Life

Sports teams that go undefeated are the stuff of legends. For example, the 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only team in NFL history to play an entire season with a perfect win-loss record. Impressively, the ’72 Dolphins posted a 17-0 record and won the Super Bowl. 

 

But what does it take to live an undefeated life, one that triumphs over troubles, soars above every struggle, and overcomes the deadly sins that drag us down?

 

Vicious vices like pride, anger, lust, laziness, gluttony, envy, and greed must be defeated and replaced by heavenly virtues like humility, patience, purity and more. Jesus is the Undefeated One who makes us more than conquerors and helps us live an undefeated life.
