There are three kinds of people in life and marriage: peacekeepers, peacemakers, and troublemakers. Which one are you? Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9).

Resolving conflict in marriage requires the fine art of peacemaking, and peacemaking requires confrontation and intentionality. If you’re the type that avoids confronting the issues that caused the conflict, peace and reconciliation will fly away like a bird in the sky.

Do you have a peaceful marriage? Is it time to make love and peace? Brushing things under the rug is the wrong way of coping with conflict. That only hides the fracas for a time, and it sows seeds of anger and resentment.
